Feel good story time!
Today I spoke to a Woman who finally was able to embrace her Mother after a year of separation.Her Mother is in her 90s, suffers from dementia, and lives in a nursing home.Soon after the Covid-19 Pandemic hit, nursing homes across Michigan were closed to visitors.Families resorted to drive-by visits in order to get a peek at their loved ones through their bedroom window.The Women went on to say that she not only wanted to hug her Mom, but she also simply wanted to hear her Mother say her name.She did, and it was one of the most special times in her life!
