Lil Pump To Drop New Album Next Month

Besides giving followers glimpses at his newly-customized nails or chest-baring ink dedicated to his Florida roots, Lil Pump is gearing up for a full-fledged return to the scene amid the quarantine.

Earlier this week, the Miami-born rapper, 19, took to Instagram Story to announce that the follow-up to his 2019 sophomore effort, Harverd Dropout, would drop in May. "Special announcement: Lil Pump 2 will be dropping next month, bitch," the rapper shouted to viewers, referencing his self-titled project, which featured the likes of Smokepurpp, Lil Yachty, Chief Keef and more. Pump didn't share any details about the LP, but it might hear the star jump into some rock territory. Previously, he teased a brief snippet of what he described as "pump rock," as well as another controversial snippet, where he name-dropped Juice WRLD.

News of another Pump album follows the release of his new music video for "Illuminati," which features Anuel AA. You might remember the making of this fiery clip as the rapper was bitten by a snake while filming the project. The Spiff TV-directed video, which was released via Tha Lights Global, sees the two artists drenched in symbolism for the topic at hand with more snakes, triangles and goats than you can count.
